I spent 3 hours trying to set it up, this is XXI CENTURY, this is GOOGLE! What I see on my TV screen is only: "setting up your TV", follow the instructions on the Google home app. But no instructions! I hate it!!!

This is a great gift to give to your elderly parents, so they don't have a tripping risk with HDMI cable. I don't understand how people find this complicated. It practically works atuomatically.

Mine says Chromecast found and it has the correct number but there colored code is never shown on either device, only the wifi menu opens but if I close it, I'm told connection unsuccessful

Chromecast to WIFI does not connect. Wi-Fi is NOT showing up in the app.

These setup videos are incomplete. You can also use your phone hotspot to setup. After setup you have 2 methods to cast to tv. 1. "Mirror" via the home app. This method means you cannot use your hp for other things but it's free and does not consume any hotspot data. 2. "Cast " using the cast button on the videos itself. It will consume hotspot data but you can use your hp while casting. Note: my telco plan comes with unlimited data with 5gb limited hotspot

Works great on my family room TV just got one for my son so he can watch anything he wants to on his TV!! All I need is his phone to download the home app to it so my phone so we dont have to use my phone for family room on his chrome cast so wish me luck...

Oh wow. Just tried it. What a train wreck nightmare.
Last month we tried and failed and got the thing to just display pictures. Today I tried to jump back in and get it working for real this time. 2 hours later, many videos websites and forums, can’t get it 😂
