I work at Best Buy. I always tell people to buy the 2 year replacement plan cuz they can just return it and get a brand new one within 2 years even if it isn’t technically broken. That’s why there are so many returns. That, and people think they’re missing parts, but… they aren’t.

I bought mine "broken" for $40, replaced a 10 cent bumper button in 5 minutes and it works perfectly lol

Owned 8 of these controllers. Feels very premium but don’t last long. They always lasted me 3-5 months till the bumpers went out. And I take very good care of my controllers. Once they fix that, I’ll gladly get another one. Till then, I’m staying far away.

I own this controller. A really cool thing I did with it was remap one of the rear bumpers to have the A button function so I can, for example, jump so I won't ever have to move my thumb off the stick while trying to aim. I highly recommend this for people who have small "hacks" like this.

I recommended for using the 2 paddles in the back by changing it to right thumbstick and left thumbstick button soo it will make the controller last longer and 50% Will not drifting

The gap between an affordable Amazon third party controller and a base Xbox/ps5 controller is bigger than the gap between the base controller and these specialty ones. And that’s saying a lot because some of those cheaper third party alternatives are solid nowadays.

I bought mine second hand with all origin accessories included and it is the best controller I have owned. Feels great in my larger than normal hands, great lasting battery life, the mappable paddles and adjustable triggers have changed the game for me.

Just got my open box Elite 2 for $76. Worked at Best Buy for years and all an open box is is a box that’s been opened 99% of the time…brand new.

They had 11 of them open boxes on shelf for a reason. The one I pre owned (sold it) had issues with A button sticking and not registering. For that price, it needs to work flawlessly.

Personally, the Xbox Elite Controller is my all time favorite controller out of my 30 years of gaming. I'm wishing one day the back paddles can be dedicated buttons instead of mapping buttons

I actually just bought a refurbished one from Best Buy yesterday for $75 because it had no box and there’s pretty much nothing wrong with it except for a tiny bit of stick drift but it’s barely even noticeable and after watching your video, I changed the stick tension. It works fine now I didn’t even notice that.

It's a good controller if you get one without problems. I had to return mine because the a-button was not reliable and wouldn't always register. I didn't wanna play the controller lottery and stuck with my razer wolverine v2 chroma for pc. I was trying out the xbox elite for use with a steam deck.
