A Minecraft movie? And I thought the angry birds movie was way late to the party when that came out 8 years ago.

It really does look like a parody skit instead of a real thing. Why did they think “real actors transported to virtual world” was the right approach instead of making them all blocky characters? Bad costumes, obvious green screen, hyper realistic animals, just makes it look uncanny. To it’s credit story mode made a fun story set in the Minecraft universe despite the limited story material in the games already.
