The Cimmerians - A chaotic arrival that shook Anatolia's Foundations

The Cimmerians finally reached Anatolia after being in West Asia for a while. They came to the region of West Asia and Anatolia after being expelled from their region by the Scythians, a closely related tribal group. When the Cimmerians reached Anatolia, they became a catalyst for the turmoil in this region. They attacked Phrygia, then Lydia, the Greek cities of the Aegean coasts, and then the north-western border of Assyria. In short, they destabilized the political balance which was prevailed in these regions. In this video, we will explore the major events that the Cimmerians caused here while being in this region.
