Another term that is derived from the word "Phrygian" is" frieze" which refers to a decorative band usually with low relief sculpture across the tops of buildings -as in the frieze of the Parthenon in Athens.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Phryguan history is overlooked and overshadowed by greeks and persians.

It's been a long time I don't watch an actual DOCUMENTARY in youtube. This is one, with documentary style formats, sections, imagery, musicalization, speech.

Thank you so much for this ✨️

First time to your channel subscribed after watching. Really liked the segment style, great maps and enjoyed the music not being overpowering and at a constant volume. Love history but knew very little about them. Really enjoyed it

Perfect music. I usually hate the too-loud, unsuitable music on YT videos, but this is just right.

Excellent, I always wonder about Phrygians, they looked like thracians so i assumed they were a tribe of that group.

The greek myths about King Midas are a bit of character assassination to a rival power. It's actually a very interesting thing how the story about the king with asses ears was inspired in one of the Midas's myths.

All I really know about the Phrygians is how rude the Greek playwrights, particularly Aristophanes were about them.
