I'm going to my 2 brothers, who are muslim. I witnessed to one before, but he didn't really care. The second one is indoctrinated by him. They are deeply rooted.

Pray to God I will be guided by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit so their hearts may be softened. I can do nothing on my own, only God enables me to accomplish His will.

God bless you, in Jesus name. Amen.

Matt, I’d like to hear from the Muslims on what they believe, this is like listening to Protestants talk about Catholicism...

but the disciples saw visions three days later. most probably reconciled it with jesus rising and it would be their mistake in that case (they were believers not prophets and such mistakes not pertaining to core theological issues are pardoned). it would be great problem to believe in atonement however crucifixion doesnt imply atonement. and two or three might have come with the alternative theory of jesus never dying.

in any case christians have a bigger problem of why God with the OT decieved everyone to believe in one person until jesus came along and clarified that God is trinity. all the evidences of trinity in OT doesnt hold water and is read into the OT.

As a Muslim, I listen to this and other Christian apologetic channels (such as Capturing Christianity) to gain an understanding of the Christian faith (also, because I love learning about history, philosophy and religion). I admire the respectful manner in which these channels debate and defend Christian belief. Just a note on this video though, in the time of Jesus (peace be upon him), there were no Muslims on earth. Muhammad (peace be upon him) arrived about 600 years after Christ. The concept of Muslims (in a narrow group of people sense), did not come about till this and after this time. What I think Dr Licona is getting at is the meaning of Muslim in the broader sense -- anyone who believes in God, day of judgement, (at the time) Jesus, revelations, angels and the afterlife -- would technically make one a believer. So for example, we believe Jesus is a Muslim (in the broad sense because Jesus believes in God, day of judgement, the hereafter, angles, expressing revelation, etc). So, although it is accurate to say Muslims were around in the time of Jesus, it will confuse people because we dont think of the term Muslims in the literal broad sense, we understand it to mean a group of people who believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him) and follows of Islam. By the way, yes, Muslims believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was saved from the crucifixion as God saved him from that ordeal.

I listen to David Wood on Acts17 Apologetics a lot, his channel specializes in debunking Islam. According to his sources (the Qoran and hadifs) Allah is a deceiver. Apparently one top muslim wrote in a hadif that even if he had one foot in heaven he couldn't be sure that Allah wouldn't actually send him to hell instead. So they worship Allah but they don't trust him.

There is no Muslim view. What we have is that our classical exegetes came up with various theories. No one is bound by these interpretations.

All Muslims have to accept is that Christ was not crucified amd there is confusion over the matter and that Christ was raised.upto God. That is all the Quran states. Every thing else.is human supposition.

We wil find out when Christ returns who is right.

What Matt needs to do is have an honest interview with a scholarly Muslim. He never does. He gets Christians to talk about us.

💯😎👍Many ask where the name Christin came from. Long ago it was taught, and now it's no longer taught, but its not forgotten.
First we shall see in Spanish, then English, and your welcome to see in Latin if you wish, and you'll see similar.

CRIS-TO CRUCI-ficado o en la CRUZ(all said with S sound), o Jesús o Jesucristo crucificado o en la cruz
!De la crucifixión de Jesús
**(English translation: "crist crucified on the cross.(All said with letter S sound)
Oh, Jesus oh Jesus Christ
!Of the crucification of Jesus.
Crucified on the cross

* Look carefully at what's been hidden.

*_cross/ cruz(cr..oo..ss.. pronounced like D-euce, but with the cr in front of duece.

*_cruc-ficado(pronounced same in the beginning of word cr..oo..ce >"creuce-fi-cando)
?? (😱The Romans gave Yeshua this name for this reason, as a mocking)

Do you see it, the HEI means Truth in Hebrew, and Christ in his name..the crucified one.
The name given to all christ-tian..means the crucificados/Cruz-fied
Again notice the word Christian...krisss tian .again the S sound.
*Research HEI Hebrew symbol of Truth.
The name given to us to wear in shame but worn proudly...We are the crucified ones. The name is proof, the son of Truth, was nailed on the cross(cruz/christ'o) for our sins, because all fall short in the glory of God. God of Truth(father) loved us so much he sent his only begotten son, to teach the world, of his father's love, of his love.
Jesuschrist(Hei-sus christ-o), even in his name, shows his suffering, his love for the world!💕

SlâM?
People trying to sound middle eastern sound funny. (Sorry for pointing it out. But why do people use middle eastern accent when saying Islam or Muslim or Mohammad?)

as a Muslim, we just don’t believe in the magic of him “coming back to life.” like it’s not that deep...
