My Daily Routine As A $100 Million CEO

How I got here…

21: Graduated Vanderbilt in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).
24 yrs old: Opened 5 gym locations.
26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.

Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).

To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.

You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. Both mean you win.

Keep crushing. May your desires be greater than your obstacles.

Never quit,

Alex

*FULL DISCLOSURE*
I make content to make money - just - on a longer time horizon than most. I want to build trust with business owners so we can find the best ones and help them scale. And if they’re awesome, write them a check and go all the way as partners.

Notice how none of what he said consisted of: meditate, go for a 5 mile run, journal, and all the other bs you see hustle gurus say. It's simple wake up, eat, work, workout plan next day.

I am a $100k CEO. I wake up at 7am, make breakfast. I get some sun within an hour of waking up. I drop my kids to school, do yoga or go for a swim in the sea or do some calisthenics. I do 2 hours of work. I then have a nice lunch. I do a couple of hours of work in the afternoon 3 times a week. The other 2 days I work on my tennis game. I pick my kids up from school and we hang out and do stuff. Play games, do something fun, play tennis. Then we have dinner. In the evenings I might meet friends, watch a movie or read a book. Sleep around 11pm. Weekends, climbing, trekking, kayaking, swimming, or meeting friends. I am going to be adding learning the guitar. I used to think I needed millions to be rich but actually I feel richer now than I ever did before.

Great tip, I've noticed the same effectiveness when planning your day the night before

I just learned something here. Instead of listing my to-do-tasks, maybe it's better to put them on a calendar! Thanks for that:-)

Jersey Mike’s on the daily is a true luxury

You work more than 99% of the influencers who claim to make nearly as much money as you. Amazing.

Sounds pretty much like my day. Except the $100 million part...

This is what I do to. I’m happy to see others doing it, as well. It’s very effective.

I work, then I work out, then I work some more. After that I go home to work more, then I dream about working, and work out in the morning

One of the greatest skills I’ve learned is adapting to the day as things change on the fly and still being able to accomplish goals. I of course am not a millionaire but I am a dad so I’ve learned this skill because it’s not all about me all the time. Not throwing shade at this guy just my perspective

Great to see!! And I believe it’s also important to set breaks on the calendar, so not to lie to yourself on doing every task right next to the other.
We gotta eat besides the main meals and also go to the restroom, lol

I find that if I don’t work out first thing it the morning it doesn’t happen at all.

Going to sleep at 8-10 and waking up at 4-5 is the hardest!

This is the same exact way I breakup my day except I ain’t waking up at 4am. I need that extra 2 hours. But the time boxing and spit shift approach is the way to go.

The hidden pattern is knowing your overall goal so you can position your days to build towards that. Know your goal/desire and structure from there.
