The only exhaust leak that should affect your turbo is between the manifold and the spool. After that, its all indifferent.

You have to plane the v bands to make the sealing surfaces square again. That’s how I got my forward facing kit for cheap used. Previous owner couldn’t get it to seal. Block sanded the manifolds and v bands.. 460/465 to the wheel on 10lbs

Hey, that's great news. It's still no Terminator Cobra or GT500. These little things that have been a bit of an issue in the past, still aren't really solved. Once you get a chance to properly fix and tune this car, then start showing content on it. All this was, was a bandaid on an big gaping wound. Upgrade the turbo so you can spoil faster and make it more fun just build off the kit you have

If it’s building boost at 4500 rpm. That is not a good thing. Should be spoiling around 2500 rpm
