Something to note about the T2 though is it’s the cause of Mac’s crashing. So if the new 5K iMac doesn’t have it, then that computer won’t crash. Still thinking the iPad Pro 2018 is the better portable Pro device with the new 5K iMac as the home option.

I love my 2018 15" MBP. Allows me to work on the go without any real limitations that matter to me. Works perfectly whether I'm running a webcast, DJing an event, or running a presentation! And like my first MBP, should last me quite a few years before I really need to upgrade!

Hi, I am hesitating to buy imac2019 or mbp15inch 2019. Both of these I will choose the basic model. For iMac, I just change 1T Fusion Drive to 512ssd, others are all basic type with i5 cpu, 8G ram, 570x. For mbp15, just the basic model. I just want to now which one will have good performance for FCPX to edit 4K H.264 and lightroom. Because I'm a junior designer. Waiting for your reply, thank you so much!

The reviewer forgot to mention one thing, SCREEN SIZE. 15" vs 27", that’s a huge difference. With a 27" iMac, you can put two documents side by side and comfortably work with them without panning and zooming. The 15" MacBook would be too cramped for that purpose.
