Abbey Road Medley by The Beatles Full Band FC #5487
Показать описание
Our big Beatles tear was mid-2019 because it was the biggest game left to do and we all love the Beatles, even if we didn't really see ourselves uploading many of the songs blemish-free. But there was one song we just couldn't quite get, and so it stayed that way. For two whole years. Clearly the Abbey Road Medley is a Slayer level chart that takes deft hands and nerves of steel to full band FC, right?
Well, a couple of rolls in Mean Mr Mustard are kinda dumb, the harmonies in Polythene Pam were a stumbling block, and yes, Chris did miss in the drum solo in The End once this session. But the song isn't really that hard, although any seventeen minute chart is bound to induce nerves. No, this is the hardest song in The Beatles Rock Band because The Beatles Rock Band hurts to look at. Going back to this as well as Rock Band 2 for customs, it's astounding how much Harmonix struggled with proper highway transparency until a couple of updates into RB3 (and then it was the same story with 4, but I digress). You don't see it in this video but everyone uses BNS and it's way fast on the old engine so you can't take your eyes off the screen, but discerning different visual patterns is hard when everything is bright and blends into each other. It's a problem across the entire game but obviously it's exacerbated by a song being seventeen minutes in length. So props not only to Chris, Nick and Carl for getting it done, but also Gal for trying it with us all those years ago.
Now if you'll excuse us, we all suddenly have to make an appointment with the optometrist.
