Upper Extremity Duplex examination

Depending on your institution vessels interrogated may vary. But most places follow the protocol of Internal Jugular Vein, Subclavian vein, Axillary vein, basilic vein, cephalic vein and Brachial veins. Others include the Innonimate or Brachiocephalic veins and the Superior Vena Cava. If indicated further interrogation of the distal Radial and Ulnar veins can be performed.
