Since Redmi note series sets benchmark in the mid budget segment, it is obvious that they can't prove a substantial upgrade every time. For example- Redmi Note 4 was a beast but Note 5 was kind of meh, similarly Redmi Note 7 Pro was a value for money but 8 Pro and 9 Pro was decent. Now Redmi Note 10/ Pro shook the entire segment, so it is highly unlikely for the 11 series to hit that "wow" factor as proved by the predecessor. I am not saying its is a bad phone but when we compare, its not worth...

The reason why people is saying that 11 series is not a big upgrade is because there was nothing left to create a hype with. I mean, note 10 series had pretty much everything that were missing in note 9 series. Good cameras, oled panel, high refresh rate, stereo speakers, good design, premium matte finish, an ip rating, all were there in 10 series. So what's left for the brand? Note 11 series is not bad by any means it's still a worthy upgrade over last.

Yea the chipset is not as powerful as 678, but again, this is a 6nm chip compared to 11nm and supports 90hz compared to 60 over note 10. So this is a win win situation.

It has everything I needed in a budget variant. UFS 2.2+Amoled Screen+Dedicated SD Card+Carrier Aggregation+Gyro&Compass Sensor+3.5mm jack. This is good competitive phone in its price range. Snapdragon processor is fine for daily tasks. My Mom's Redmi Note 5 has Snapdragon 625 and I was satisfied with its performance. So no complaining about the 680. I too wanted to consider Redmi Note 10 but too many complaints about its proximity sensor issue and no 90hz screen. RN11 has improved proximity sensor. So, this is good.

The new 50 mp sensor is also a downgrade from the old 48mp, even the older redmi note 7 had a better sensor .This new sensor is just 1/2.76 inches similar to imx 476 in redmi note 5 .

I bought redmi note 10 around 11 months ago in 12k.
It's good to see there aren't major changes from that to note 11.

for normal users redmi note 11 is good, but have to wait and see if SD 680 can handle 90hz smoothly or not, for gamers note 10 with amoled is good(there are other good processors only for gaming without amoled screen).
personally I don't feel camera of note 11 will have huge improvements, or improvements that really makes me want to buy it,
so only thing for note 11 will be the 90hz amoled display, and the battery performance and charging speed.

Using note 8 pro since 1.5 years. It's 64 MP camera clicks better photos than OnePlus Nord 2. Recently went to Himalayan range and people asked me about camera when i uploaded pics on SM 😉. Happy with my Note 8 Pro. Will surely use it as long as it goes.

how many people actually need to record videos is 4k? I don't get why absence of this feature gets overhyped. Also the chipset will perform better with upcoming updates, and will be more optimized to work with Adreno 610, I don't think it's a downgrade. Also, device looks far far better than Note 10, specially the camera design. Last but not least, how many devices do you get with AMOLED screen in this price segment? 😛

Stop saying AMOLED is a USP. Also inform how good is the panel because cheap AMOLED is worse than a decent LCD.

@00:57 - while asking audience, there was two phones kept side by side but with no markers (osd or highilghters) to identify which ine is which, such small things make or break watching experience many times

Kudos for not wasting time with useless intro animations. TBH it's a sheer waste of time for both you and the viewers.

CPU is a downgrade the 680 uses cortex a73 and a53 cores while the 678 uses the a76 and a55 cores as well as downgrade in GPU adreno 610 vs 612. Sneaky move by Qualcomm
