How Far Do You Think The Chiefs Go This Year? 🤔

Bro, I didn’t realize the lions had 3 guys on Worthy when he caught that pass from Mahomes for nearly 40 yards 😂😂😂

As a Bills fan who's watched these guys beat us for years, I have nothing but respect for Mahomes. The guy simply knows how to win Football games. It isn't even worth being mad at anymore...

as far as thinking another 50/5000 isn't possible, he had 41 passing TD and 5250 passing yards in 2022

Prior to the 2023 season they had a plan for Toney, Skyy Moore, Richie James, and MVS to take a next step. Obviously, that didn't materialize and in fact they went backwards and hurt the team in multiple key situations, resulting in the highest turnover margin and most drops in the NFL. They rolled the dice with those guys and lost, big time. Patrick Mahomes had 7 catchable passes intercepted during the regular season last year per PFF. Literally half of his INTs were balls that should have been caught.

However, as the year progressed and they realized this plan was not working they adjusted, and guys like Justin Watson and and late addition Mecole Hardman allowed them to get by, along with Travis Kelce and Isaih Pacheco of course. The progression of Rashee Rice was also a key element to their offensive production down the stretch.

The key to last year's team was the defense. They didn't cause many turnovers, but they kept the Chiefs in striking distance, and that's essentially all you need when you have Patrick Mahomes. They did lose LJ Sneed and have some questions at CB2 coming into this year, but ultimately I think they will be a top ten defense in the league barring catastrophic injuries.

It’ll always agitate me that the Bills, a team in need of a WR, didn’t just trade picks with the Chiefs but allowed them to grab the fastest WR in the draft.

Been waiting for this one. My grandpa has been rooting for them since before Montana came over and now I’m the biggest fan

I wish there would’ve been a mention of Jaden Hicks. That guy’s been flying around all training camp. It’s pretty rare to see a rookie look that polished right out of the gate.

The biggest signing was Chris Jones, the best FA of the off-season.

I think the 3peat happens. I've the Chiefs as my preseason pick to win the Super Bowl.

All of the obvious talking points with the Chiefs, both good and bad, have been talked to death. One of those points I do want to touch on however is that I do not think losing Sneed will be as impactful as people think. I trust Spagnuolo to coach and scheme up the young DBs they're looking to "next man up" to fill the void left by Sneed.

On offense, the only concern really is RB depth. I do LOVE Isiah Pacheco and think he's the most underrated RB in the entire NFL and I'm happy to see that the Chiefs appear to see that themselves and are positioning him to possibally have a career season. That said, CEH, while a decent RB in his own right, does have his issues and limitations and to have only spare parts and young proiject types behind those 2 is, at best, a gamble. But if there's any team I trust to find a way to make that work, it's the Chiefs.

Above all else, I think Patrick Mahomes knows how much accomplishing the 3peat and being the only QB to ever do it will impact the GOAT debate and I see him channling that into motivation for the season and the team. That, on top of everything else, is just too much for me to ignore.

Injuries will likely be the biggest influence on the 3-peat. If KC stays healthy, BOOK IT

I’m not seeing who beats them if the ravens could not

That was the worst year of Mahomes career, and he won on the road against the top 2 AFC seeds ( showing he could win on the road in January ). They get tested with the Ravens, Bengals, Falcons, and Chargers in their first four games. They have a bye before the 9ers in October, and then get into a softer part of the schedule. From week 8 through 18 the toughest opponents are the Texans, Browns, and Bills. I think they are going to threepeat, and the defense will be top 5 again. They look like a 13 or 14 win team, and KC will likely host the AFCCG for the 6th time in 7 years.

Even if this team isn’t the hottest on paper they just have a winning pedigree that will always keep them in contention. Hard to hate a team that won a chip with no first round bye

Hopefully my Texans can end this streak 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿

Careful! If you go too far out on a limb, you might fall and hurt yourself!

This team might honestly go 17-0 and the idea of that makes me absolutely sick
