Sonny Jurgensen completed a behind the back pass in a game in the early 1960s. There's also video of him throwing a behind the back spiral with velocity to a receiver what looks like 15 to 20 yards downfield.
It's great that Mahomes pulled it off and he is the NFL's best QB, but it's not the first time it's been done.

What’s funny is there was almost no reason for this. He could have easily thrown a normal pass above that lineman to Kelce. He did this because he wanted to
