Niner fan here. Chiefs always will have a chance to win the SB. One year Niners went 10-6..and still won the SB with Montana. When you have a great QB..you always can make a run.

The Chiefs have an an entire seasons worth of extra games compared to any other team over the past few years. Since PM15 has taken over, they have never fallen short of the AFCCG. They aren't going to be more tired than usual, they are used to the longer seasons

Andy Reid is a master of using the regular season to work on different stuff, show different looks, and prepare for the Playoff Push in December/January. He will not sacrifice emptying the playbook to save a regular season game. Sometimes that results in a loss (like Raiders on Christmas) but it's always in preparation for the playoff push.

Their schedule is favorable to 14-3...
Under Andy Reid & Mahomes they almost always get off to a good start only one year with was it slow.
In the division they went 4-2 last year and they average 5-1. Mahomes is 30-5.
The only 2 teams on their schedule that they struggle with are Cincinnati and Buffalo he's 7-6 so say 1-1.
The rest of the 9 teams on their schedule.?.?.?.
NFC South, AFC North, Niners & Texas...
He's 22-3 so call it 8-1.
8-1, 5-1, 1-1 is 14-3.
It's doable to 14 & 3.

The Chiefs are they have all their first stringers. But what happens if they get seriously dinged up? What happens if Mahomes can't be in the centre and Travis is having to listen to someone who doesn't 'get' him. It is a long season....lots can happen. Lots of amazing teams with a ton of talent.
