Could this be the best mower of 2024? What I will say is the segway navimow i series 105 was very easy to setup and program. It took me a total of 10 minutes to set it up and complete the programming.

The segway navimow i105 came with an antenna system called EFLS that tracks the robot mowers location. I found it was very accurate. When visibility to the mower was blocked by trees the on board camera system called vision did a great job keeping the mower out of areas that the mower could possibly get stuck.

It comes equiped with obstacle avoidance programmed in and did a great job staying away from obstacles that were 4" tall or higher.

The i series comes in two models. the 1/8th of an acre model and a 1/4 acre model. The american version comes with a height of cut that ranges from 2" to 3.6" . This was a large request by americans. Mostly because we like to keep our grass long since we mow one time per week on average.

Great product it seems, but is it limited to the quick perimeter mapping you did as shown in the beginning of the video, or is it using it as a guideline and is it figuring out later, where the actual gras boundaries are ? Thanks for great review and showing us it's dog friendly ( except for the poop :) )

I have the Luba 2 that uses a RTK/Antenna. I don't know if you tested that one and could do a comparison. Luba is amazing and all wheel drive (AWD)...you didn't mention how to do height adjustments unless I missed it, Luba also allows multiple zones that can overlap as you finish mapping, Luba 2 app gives you options you can set for different patterns of cutting along with angles to cut, and Luba allows you to watch your cutting process using the camera on the Luba 2 rather than attaching a go-pro to record the use. You never mentioned if you can use the camera for your own use. You never mentioned if you can change the cut height from the app either. Seems line Luba 2 is better *BUT* the latest firmware ruined the RTK signal for the Luba2 when it tries to cut the front of my house. It gives me a poor positioning error that pauses cutting. It says it was only 5% into the cutting process. I'll never finish cutting the front of my house using Luba 2 on their latest firmware (1.11.511.376). I can also manually mow using the bluetooth connection but need to walk behind the Luba 2 if I want to do that. I might as well buy a self propelled mower and do it myself.
I'm sure the Navimow RTK/Antenna is just as sketchy with the signal since your video seems to show your unit way out in the yard. I'll buy this one but I'm 100% positive it'll be returned too. I'll keep buying and returning until an RTK becomes local to the actual device like a Kress mower (currently commercial use only). I'm spoiled with the features for Luba...but they need to work out the kinks, like allowing 2 RTK connections.

Mine arrives tomorrow! I hope it can handle slopes, because my yard is sloped and the little garage I set up for it under my back deck has a "drive way" made of cement stepping stones that is also on a slope.

Good Video! I live in humid weather, rains almost every day, and St Augustine grass grows fast, typically mow every 4-5 days. Would this be a good choice? Also, does this sense rain, return to a covered base station, and charge?

"Oh yeah" bet that was a hard sell for ya. I actually laughed after that. Cuz nothing is sexier (and clearly sounds sexy) then cranking a mechanical dial to adjust the cut height.

Would the 1/8 model work okay for 4500ish square feet? It would just have to recharge mid cut, I am thinking. Or it not is the 1/4 model they way to go no mater what?

Nice review. One question. Can you comment on the Segway requirement to install the base station at least 2m from building and/or trees and/or edge? This to me is a major drawback. Do I have to lay electric wires in the middle of my lawn? Thank you.
