I wasn’t alive when this movie came out. I first saw it on DVD in the early 2000’s when I was 17, and I didn’t know the scene of Elwood parking the Bluesmobile in that electrical transformer room was cut from the theatrical release, because it was included on the DVD. I found out later that scene was cut from the theatrical release to conserve time.

In Italy is usually transmitted at midnight between 24 and 25 december, immediately after "Trading Places" (which is aired in this day consecutevely from early 90's!!).
But yesterday the scene where Elwood parks the car in the garage was missing...

To me at least, parking the dodge inside the high voltage transformer didn't really make a great deal of sense. But I still think it's funny that Elwood has to climb out through the window to get out.
