Suspension arm on NISSAN X-Trail (T31) (03.2007–07.2014) / RENAULT Koleos I (HY) (09.2008–...) / RENAULT Megane II Saloon (LM) (08.2003–...) / RENAULT Megane II Hatchback (BM, CM) (09.2002–12.2009) / RENAULT Megane II Sport Tourer (KM) (08.2003–08.2009) cars should be changed, as a rule, according to one and the same procedure.

Is it possible to remove or repair the captive nuts on the subfram where the front bush bolts on? Managed to damage the threads on mine

Great video but one mistake: fully tighten bolts when wheel is back on a ground or in a driving position. If you tighten them too early bushings will wear off very quick..

what's the purpose of spraying wd40 before putting back a bolt? what's the purpose of spraying copper grease on the bolt in the end?

Only Nissan would make you need to disconnect the droplinks to get the arm off. It's ok when you are not in a rust belt.
