2017 Volkswagen Tiguan Review

The redesigned Tiguan is not yet available in Canada. We'll see it as a 2018 model!

The 2018 VW Tiguan will be available in two different sizes, depending on the market, a regular- and a long-wheelbase version.

Both new versions are wider, longer and have a longer wheelbase than the old Tiguan.

On a global scale, the next Tiguan will be available with no fewer than eight different engines, four diesel and four gasoline. In Canada it will feature the 2.0 TSI Turbocharged gas engine.

I have a 2009 Tiguan and it's the best car I've ever owned. It's only got 127 thousand on it. Yes parts are not cheap but I've found it to be reliable and it's a blast to drive. The turbo is there If you need the power and day to day driving it's really good on gas. Again you have to use premium but it lasts . Only time it will chew is if you drive it hard which I don't do. The seats are very comfortable too. You can tell why it cost more . I've had mine 2 years now. I think when it comes time to trade in I might get one of these R lines. That stereo rocks and you did a great review. I just subscribed.

i bought a 2017 tigun limited my problem is HOWW TO LOCK ive been trying i lock the doors with remote..then i press the truck lock and lock i come out aer 15mins..to check if trunks locked...and its open....can you help me..also if my battery dies..how touse key to

Someone told me for the US, this is the early 2017 model, but later in the half year.. perhaps just before summer, the redesigned version which is available in europe will be for sale.

Thank you for the review. I learned a lot, which is good because I own a 2017 Tiguan, except that it is a Wolfsburg Edition. You are right! It is a great car all the way around. As I told my four girls growing up, "You can't beat German Engineering!"
