I feel like no one acknowledges the fact that this fight is the last time we ever see Kiryu fight a boss in his iconic gray suit. Nagumo 4 and Hirose had him in his Onomichi attire, and the entire finale had him in a funeral suit. Just a little thought I had.

I like how most boss has their own badass intro, but Yuta's is just him getting punched by Kiryu.
Feels like it kinda symbolizes that he's nowhere as close to match Kiryu, but he's damn determined to save his kid no matter what.

Say what you will about Yuta, but the fact he took a running haymaker to the jaw from the Dragon of Dojima before even fighting him makes him a certified badass.

I love how most boss intros either have someone clashing with Kiryu, or a badass shot of them, and Yuta's boss intro is just him tanking a running haymaker from Kiryu xD

I actually struggle in this fight against Yuta more than i did with Koshimizu and Joon Gi Han. Which shows how strong he can be when he has nothing to lose. Truly worthy to be the Dragon of Dojima's son in law.

Kiryu's Mind: *Kiryu mentality remembers nearly dying when he fought Aizawa and how separating himself from the orphanage created a rift between himself and those he loves. His family.*

Kiryu: Yeah, I'm gonna have to ask you NOT to do that.

Yuta is a badass for straight up walking up to the Siao Triad and burning their HQ down.

I like to imagine the balls Yuta had to fight frikin Kiryu in a burning building is what really convinced Kiryu about Yuta being worthy of Haruka.

I don't know if this is coincidence, but Yuta has a striking resembelance to Ryo from Shenmue, which Yakuza basicaly it's spiritual successor.

Love how this is one of the few times Kiryu ever throws the first punch, pretty much the exact moment in Kiryus entire stroyline where he has just finally fucking had enough bs

This is a VERY personal fight for Kiryu, he wants to stop Haruto losing a parent to the underworld much like his own were and while Yuta and Haruto were same cannot be said for another.
