Also the RS6 with V10 engine is hella machinery. Wagon from hell.

GER here. you rarely see an RS7 on the street. RS6 is pretty common in relation. The E-Tron GT is some nice machinery too. But the RS7 in this video isnt in standard configuration. There are several exterieur parts added.
RS6 and RS7 share the same engine + turbos

When I was a child I saw a blue Audi RS2 in Barcelona. I fell in love immediately. It was basically an Audi 80 Avant tuning by Porsche. And it was incredible. My dream car is the 2010 RS6 Avant. I mean, a station wagon with a V10 engine? Sign me in.

Edit: Some cars you may be interested, Renault 5 Turbo, Renault Clio V6, Volvo C30 Polestar, Volvo 850T-5R and the Auto Union Type C Streamline, a beast with 500+ HP that can reach 400 Km/h in 1937

I have actually driven and worked on a few of these. The headlights are called "matrix-LED" lights and require a completely separate and high tech machine to adjust them, since they will confuse regular ones. Absolutely gorgeous piece of German engineering, even though i prefer the looks of the RS6 C8. And it is truly a monster when you start it cold. Glad you joined the Audi fan club!

2:56 that's why back in the day they would say
If you have your finger between the door in a american car, you have no problem. If you have your finger between the door in a French car, your finger would be bruised. And If you have your finger between the door in a German car, it would be a clean cut 😂

My friend who lives up the street from us has an RS5 V8 with a Milltech exhaust, always gives it the beans when passing our house and rattles the dishes in the cupboard. That 4.2 V8 is a work of art.

I come from Stuttgart, the home of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, and for German automotive engineering is also at the same time engineering and the pursuit of making a perfect product even more perfect. The Germans like to have perfection, structure and order around them, but when we drive a car we become anarchists. Introducing a speed limit on motorways in Germany is as emotional for Germans as the discussion about carrying weapons in the USA.

I do like the RS7, but given the choice, I'd go for the RS6 instead, basically the same engine, same power, same performance, both have quattro AWD, it looks just as good (if not even slightly better in my opinion)

And most importantly, it's a wagon, so it's way WAY more practical, specially for me as the owner of a rather large dog, I would not feel god cramming him in under that "sportback" bootlid! 😅

I really think you should look into the RS6 as well, wether as a reaction or on your own time, it is another absloute masterpiece!

What I like about German cars is station wagons. RS6, Class E AMG...Especially the legendary Mercedes E 63 and E55 AMG S211...

Funny, i saw the notification and the title of the video. My first tought was that Ian finally found Audi RS6. Close enough. 😅 But RS7 is pure awesomeness.

Yeah, its heavy about 2 tons. I have the previous RS6(same care just different body) for 10 years with 170k KM and hasnt borken down once, only changed consumables on it. Its a joy to drive and i have mine with no RS badges and its just like a sleeper supercar. Just so you know the C7 version of RS6&7 sound much better than the new C8. A friend got the new RS6 2021 and after 2 years of ownership he had it for 5 months at the dealer with all sorts of problems and he regreted not getting the C7 version. If you want any details or concerns about RS6 or 7 just let me know and i will be happy to give as much info as i can.

When I saw the V8 RS6 on the streets back in 2015, it's become my dream car ever since. I specifically love the station wagon/shooting brake shape along with everything it offers along with practicality. Simply magnificent.

I'm more of a RS6 guy myslef so i get it, it's basically the same car (RS6 is a little bit more off the ground as well), i'm also a big wagon fan, which again really stunning car, best looking wagon is the new RS6 in my humble opinion. Both are functional artpieces in my eyes.

Okay, I didn't expect a new car like that on your channel that you like that much. But I have to say this thing looks really brutally good. Hopefully someday we'll see how you drive a car like that on your channel. 😁 Keep up the good work.
Edit, : we need Rouven aka Dr. Crazy from Audi here!

5:08 I work in engineering and designing ECUs and usually never see where it gets placed under the hood (many times it's also hidden away from plain sight). It's beautiful seeing one so openly placed like this. It looks almost "biologically" like the placement of human organs.

I never ever had a car licence and never drove a car, ...and still...have been watching your channel for a long time, reckognizing your interest and love for cars and motorsports...how odd is that ? Hehe..
Being a european the bike and public transport is ok for me, ... I do admire your "mad" affection for these "no good enviromental objects ".
Best wishes Kim

Had a 2013 Audi SQ5 for a couple of years….3 litre twin turbo V6 Diesel….what a weapon!! 0-62MPH, …. 5 seconds, and amazing fuel economy!
Currently have a VW Amarok (Pick Up) single turbo version of the same engine, light tune equals about 260 BHP, but most importantly around 600Nm of torque.

The RS6 & 7 are simply beautiful and sinister looking. And very practical.
