Thanks for doing this. I appreciate the speed and effectiveness of your presentation. I have shooting and editing for more than 35 years, but I’ve never had to do this but recently a colleague brought me some footage where he accidentally left on some of the display info that would normally just appear on the monitor and he wanted it removed. I struggled but now I have the tools, thanks to you.

Holy Hell! I had zoom interview in which the mouse cursor was left on the face of the interviewee... First option worked like a charm! Thank you!! SUBSCRIBED!

That was perfect and so helpful. I successfully removed a cord from my video with the method 3 and it looks so professional. Thank you

Is there anything you can do when you have a spot on your lense (ice/snow) that you want to remove but you have a very dynamic background (skiing). So the spot is stationary but the background behind the spot is moving.

hey Sebastian! So i clicked on my clip, use the pen tool to mark around the object that i wanted gone. When i got done outlining, it didnt change the screen like it did for you around 1:28. Then i go to click masks under the clip name and it doesnt have the add/subtract dropbox next to masks. What am i doing wrong?

Thanks, in your video it doesn't say how long AE would take to generate the fill and how one knows when its doing it or not.
I have a logo/watermark on the screen and the background changes ie Music video, i tried your 1st method but i just don't know if AE is working or not and PR the mask appears black.... Soooo????

LOL... I was waiting for the part where the penguin and the waves met and spoiled all of your well laid plans... but maybe there were some well placed jump-cuts??? Ha ha ha... great video!😂

Hello! I greatly appreciate your video, however I am slightly confused. When I create the mask with the pen tool in After Effects, the mask that pops up for me is all black instead of the alpha white and grey boxes. How do I configure AE so that the masks create an alpha effect instead of all black? Thanks in advance for your help and for your content.

Thank you for your video. I still can't get a still object to go away though, even after photoshop. I imported the still image back, but It's just not working.
