This is a fantastic video…this is the 4th video I watched on my maps…I said before I’ll probably not learn anything new…wow was I wrong…I learned a ton!!!
I have one comment and someone may have shared or you may know by now…at 8:37, you say that the route features may not be the best if you want to avoid a road etc…you can drag the route to the road you wish to take.

Great video man! You outdid yourself on how thorough this is, yet still concise. SUBSCRIBED! PS: I like this video particularly because I was trying to find out how to plan a route with Google My Maps and you noted that it doesn't work with GPS. But, my other application is plotting well locations for our non-profit and these don't have place names. The bit you shared about custom markers is what I needed to know! Maybe you can make a followup video where you demonstrate *how to import KML data* (I saw that you can export)?
