cool, new to me.
I can across WMIC (Windows Management Instrumentation Command-Line) today which lets you pull data from bios
wmic bios get serialnumber

Nice tip, thanks I will find it usefull. Im sure I have seen shell: xxx before but I have never used that command a such. Great quick shourtcut will save lots of time. Makes a lot of sense with the common in front of it for all users.
