The Return Of Joyboy | One Piece | Gear 5 AMV

I had made 2 Gear 5 edits and uploaded this thinking that it will hardly cross even 500 views. But here I was, overwhelmed when the video reached 10k views. At the moment of writing ( July 19, 2023 ), the video is currently at 88k views. This, is a figure, that I have only seen in the videos of other big YouTube content creators.

As I get time, I have been reading the pleasant comments that are being showered and it feels great to be alive and reading your compliments, interpretations and feelings. The beautiful comments I have read so far... I will cherish them for the rest of my life. I wish that I wake up everyday to read these comments, old and new, and start the day better :)

I am not a professional video editor and I do not like making edits that contain only fancy transitions or 4k twixtors. I tend to put emotions in my edits through the medium of storytelling which sometimes makes the video longer such that no one remains watching till the end. However, this video right here has surpassed my expectations in terms of viewership.

I would like to thank, from the bottom of my heart, to all of you who made this possible.

Coming to Gear 5, I was looking for AMVs and Edits of Gear 5 to hype myself but couldn't find the exact vibe I was searching for. So I decided to take it upon myself to make one and ended up making two.

I am uploading the final edit now, before the episode finally airs. The link will be provided below.

These were made as a celebration of the epic return of Joyboy, the mastermind storytelling of Eiichiro Oda, the hardworking team of Toei Animation and those who have brought the manga and the anime to life and everyone who has been part of this wonderful journey.

There are many people who started this journey but sadly they won't be here anymore to finish the journey. May their souls rest in peace.

Carrying on their will, let's be a part of the Drums of Liberation and celebrate the fact that we are alive to experience this great event.
