SwOS basics: VLAN tagging

Edgars, can you explain why you need IVL mode? If it is important, why isn't it the default? Unless there are multiple interfaces with the same mac address plugged into access ports in different vlans, I don't understand why IVL would be a requirement.

Can you make an SwOS ACL video. I have not found any good documentation with examples. I have a CSS106-5G-1S, but this should apply to any device that can run SwOS. And having a compare and contrast with ROS switch rules (also no examples in documentation for ROS) would be helpful as well.

One of desired swOS setup with configuration allowed from specific VLAN - is a puzzle.
It easiest way to shoot yourself in the foot.
And PPPOE with static mac over VLAN interface on ROS - I just give up on that.
