My tip would be to buy intertwined fates as soon as you get more than 160 primos, and save those instead. Remove the temptation to wish on the standard banner completely. As there is literally nothing else one should be doing with primos other than wishing on character banners, why keep them around? It also makes it easier to keep track of exactly how many wishes you have.

been saving for scara's c6 since 2022 (currently have his c3) tbh saving for him is very easy cuz i dont see myself maining anyone else anymore because his exploration utility is so good that i feel abysmally slow using my other characters (also since im a big scara fanboy so) currently have 260+ wishes

my number 1 method used to be to cover up the part of my screen where i can see my primogem count with a piece of paper, and just try to not go into the wishing menu much in general. i saved up 45 pulls in the span of a month for furina using this method, and skipped the entirety of wriothesley's banner even though i love him so much (i lost the 5050 ofc but that allowed me to get ayato who's now my favorite character so i'm not even mad). since then i made myself a tier list of all five stars ordered from who i want the most to who i want the least, like al haitham and furina are ss, xiao is s, nilou is a, navia is b, albedo is c, eula is d and klee is f, i took into consideration who would help my account the most and also who i like the most personally, thats why xiao is so high.. but i'll get around to everyone eventually, since there's no character i genuinely hate
and the thing that's helping me save right now and works like a CHARM, is to replace your keybind of f3 leading to the wishing menu to instead lead to your character screen, just to show you everyone you've been benching and say BUILD THESE FIRST (it's rosaria sucrose and fischl for me) 😭😭 so everytime i try to use my muscle memory to wish, i just get reminded of this goal. i'm staying strong saving for al haitham using these methods right now!! let's hope he comes home early (my luck is absolutely abysmal in this game, so i am preparing for the absolute worst case scenario as you said, but i can always hope)

Yep this is pretty much what I do and cuz of that i always get what I want. Recently I had so much saved up primos that I made the goal of getting C6 Arlecchino. But then I tried out Xianyun and her jumping skill was so fun that I got her C1 and I haven't had this much fun in Genshin in over a year. So I'm no longer achieving my C6 Arlecchino goal any time soon but I don't regret it cuz I'll still get her at c0 at least and I'm having fun in Genshin rn. My top priority in Genshin is having fun and I figured ill have more fun with a C1 Xianyun than doing big numbers with a character whose kit I don't even know yet. So I guess what I'm trynna say is that if you follow this advice one day you'll have a surplus of primos and gain the privilege of being able to be flexible with your goals.

Reminder: Don't forget saving up for the best in slot weapons. I've seen so many players joining me in Co-op with sub-optimal weapons and asking me how I deal so much more dmg. Yes C6 is nice, but maxed out BIS refined weapon isn't cheap either and can be hell to wait for when banners change.

I've mastered the art of saving for 5 stars, I now need to master the art of pulling for 4 stars efficiently. The problem of course is most of the time these two arts go contradicting on each other.

Year before you said save primos and pull better characters and now I'm easily doing 36 stars as f2p with 12 limited characters just because I chose all best characters and invest in vertical way. Thanks your advice

Thank you for doing these videos. I think this is not the first time you've done one like this but this still helped me in getting inspiration for wish grinding.

I always get the BP and welkin every time and it still gets hard to save since a lot of areas in my world are already at 90% exploration and my sources left are mostly dailies and achievements.

I got my primary goal character Raiden Shogun (now at C2 with R1 EL) after saving a lot of wishes from late August 2023 to the start of v4.3 phase 2.

In hoping to get C3, i lost 50/50 to Keqing. Now I have a guarantee and 170+ wishes saved and Im gonna use them all for Arlecchino too (along with her weapon which is rumored to be a scythe).

I'm currently saving for Kokomi, Furina, and Arlechinno! I've given in twice already, once for Nahida (she was guaranteed and I really wanted a better Dendro than Yaoyao and Collei) and again for Yae. Luckily I got an early 5* for Yae, so I'm back to saving. However with the announcement of the 5* Banner having Eula and Klee, my will was once again tested, however watching this hopefully should help me with my saving (I need 90k Primos TwT). Also, I reccomend Silly Wisher if you want a wishing sim, its fun, free, and very silly!
