*Overall **enjoyable.fishing** recommend I feel the Shadowfire 360 offers excellent value for those who are new to tenkara and don't want to break the bank on their first rod purchase.*

Don’t forget the couple drops of Anise extract. Bob taught me that at the Tall Mike fundraiser blitz of 89

As a west coast angler I had no clue you could catch striper on the east coast and then I found out that the ones here's ancestors were brought here from the east. Learn something new everyday.

Billy knows wtf he is doing, one man one rod operation. People laugh at me when I crank the reel a couple times to move the chunk after it sits for a big, I tell em I'm putting a new presentation on the plate. THAT SHIT WORKS. when u know the fish is there and u didn't get a bite for 15 minutes move it a couple feet.

I was striper surf fishing of a beach in Maine with baitrunner. I used clam and squid on circle hooks. I was getting big bites but could not catch anything. When that reel was on ( the second light the baitrunner)...for a second or three...they would spit it out the minute I reeled or yanked the rod. Rod is a 10-11 foot Tsunami. Reel is a Shimano baitrunner 4500. I dont know what I was doing wrong but it just didn't work...lost allot of fish...also a very big one...that I had on rod fighting for 1 minute then lost it. Is it the knot on the hook or the size of hook ( #3/0 to 4/0? The rod? Can you please help me....or explain what im doing wrong.🙏? I love to fish with baitrunner for allot of species...i just want it to work for stripers. Thanks

Great video. What size hooks would you recommend for a bait setup like that?

Would you recommend the Penn Warefare 20 star drag with a drag of 15lbs sufficient for fishing strippers?

Excellent tips for us Bait Hurlers. It would nice to find out the reel, rod & braid size? Bill did mention the 100# mono leader. But I didn't pickup any other tackle details. Looks like some kind of live liner reel, obviously. Penn Fierce II Live Liners are now available as an affordable live liner choice; 6000 & up models for medium to heavier option. Pair it up with a 9' - 11' Lami. or Tsunami with 30+lb. braid, 3 way swivel, 2-4 oz weight. And you'll have a decent or setup. Plus save a few bucks for those pogies! Tight lines in Fall '15 for all you surf-dogs out there! Cheers...I've got to sign up to get these past episodes.
