Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning - 10 Things You Need To Know Before You Buy

Of all the games to see a revival this year, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was probably one of the least likely. Originally developed by Big Huge Games and 38 Studios and released in 2012, messy circumstances left it in limbo. Even with THQ Nordic purchasing the rights in September 2018, Electronic Arts still had the publishing rights and it was unclear whether the game would ever return.

Fortunately, things worked and the somewhat ridiculously named Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning was announced this past June. It's out on September 8th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

What can you expect from the remaster or, for that matter, from the original game? Let's take a look at 10 things you should know before picking it up.

Cool!! I can't wait for this to come out. I love Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning! It's one of my all time favorite RPG's. The only thing I didn't like about it was not enough storage space. There are thousands of things to collect in the game. Weapons, armor sets, crafting supply's but the game only gives you one chest that only holds 155 items. I have to sell things I wanted to keep because I kept running out of storage space. I hope they add more storage space in the remake.

I got this game when it originally came out and it surprised me a lot back then. Very good game that deserves a bigger fan base
