I love Hasselblad’s design language, all modern cameras should look that sleek.

I worked with Hasselblad - Sinar 4x5 inch etc as a international advertising photographer, retired now 🙂 and happy with my Fujifilm X-T5

I am a 15 year long Leica fanboy (M11, SL3, ...), but I acquired this X2D-100 and a couple of lenses and it is my preferred camera now. Insane image quality and colors.

As much as I love Faizal's videos, (and this isn't a dig against him) but starting to just get tired of companies paying/shipping cameras to influencer just to review. Seen about 5 videos with this Hassie and they're all "raving" about the camera as they have to

Such a sick camera - I'd love to get my hands on one. For me it's the 16-bit colour and the much larger sensor that appeal to me most. It doesn't appeal to my wallet though 😅 Great video as always bud!

Crazy how because, even though it's on a big monitor, I'm watching this in a YouTube videos, unless you're showing the close crops, the images still look the same as your APSC Fujifilm stuff. And that's probably more of a compliment of your style rather than a criticism of the camera.

Happy X2D owner since launch (sold my X1D II to fund it) and agree with your points! Ultimately I'd like to see Hasselblad make it faster to focus, without asking us to buy a new generation of lenses to compensate. The focal range now feels like it has coverage at all necessary ranges, but took a while. I'm excited to see where they continue to innovate, but I do get the feeling the camera is best used as a lesson to 1) slow down, 2) pay attention, and 3) capture the art of life.

(Would also love to see them, now owned by DJI and presumably with its financial backing, do whatever it takes to partner with Capture One. It is frustrating and awkward that Hasselblad is essentially the *only* manufacturer they either cannot or will not support.)

The camera is so beautifully made and feels so good when you hold it😅. But the problem is, that in todays world, where we mostly view photography on a tiny screen, one can’t see if a pic was taken with a smartphone, an APS-C camera, a fullframe camera or a medium format camera … unless it’s a portrait. If I would be into professional fashion-, product- or portrait-photography, I would probably think about buying this camera or the GFX 100 II from Fuji. But as a mere hobbyist who shoots street and travel, I need something small, light and unobtrusive. So, given all this, the X2D still is a wonderful camera, but for my use case it’s total overkill. Anyway, thanks for the nice video😉👍!

The anticipation of watching this video and patiently waiting to see the images taken on it, like a lil' kid on Christmas eve, giddy to open up presents the next day...

the price tag ? Silly bank account just can't ! While I had Hasselblad in the past, I just cannot afford anything Hasselblad today so it is not a matter of "disregard".

It seems to me, that this camera shows more details and contrast. Specially in the clothing(fabrics). That results in more texture visible and different shimmering. And the coloring is on its own. That can make you look different and at extra layers to your street photography. Example the b&w picture with the lady with the long knit.

It’s so cool to see how medium format impacts the type of photos you shoot. You should come to California and take a portrait of me in my native land. Disneyland.

Yoo this video was incredible. Makes me want to take it for a spin, but I don't think I can justify the price tag haha.

Loved the photos in this video too - great eye for detail and that color/resolution + your edits are so good. Those mannequin shots are fire...especially at 6:54 and 7:56. 🔥
