I picked one up and have tested Ubuntu and Android... Android, like usual, takes the cake on performance for anything Rockchip, but Ubuntu works really great as a standard desktop. I'd still go Raspberry Pi 5 if you are not a hobbyist.

What’s good for, when you can’t buy one, every time I go to any of the stores of orange pi, no one has one in stock. You should have limit on how many people can buy at a time. If they need more then 3 pieces, then they should contact the company. People buy a bunch then sell them on eBay. Shame, it would have been a good SBC.

Another in the line of powerful hardware but no software to take advantage of it. It will be obsolete by the time anything complete emerges. In the mean time, just keep pumping out the e-waste that this will very soon become.

No thanks. Until there is better rk3588 support for Linux, I won't be buying any more Orange Pi products.
