This actually happened to me. With my first birth. It was insane. My poor honey saw it all go down. I was drugged up so didn’t feel it at all. Thank god! I have this dream like memory of seeing the doc elbow deep. Then being so cold and forgetting I even had a baby let alone a BF waiting for me. Then the nurse held my hand. Her hand was so warm and she said “your baby is waiting for you”. I don’t know who that nurse is but I love her.

I was 20 weeks pregnant when I watched this happen to my twin sister. I've never seen so much blood. It was the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. She had the best doctors and even though she lost 11 liters blood (thank god they had a bunch of blood at the hospital) Dr. Freeman of oregon saved her life and was able to save her uterus to boot. Physically she now has devastating period pain and heavy periods that last for 3 weeks or more. Thank you for bringing attention to this 💜
