Acer Nitro 5 Battery Life Office Workflow (2021) | [Updated]

Hello,

In this video I’m testing the Acer nitro 5’s battery while running under the office workflow. Couple of months ago I Did the same video presenting the stuff. Unfortunately back then the device was utilizing the dedicated GPU in the background and that’s why it lasted just for 2 hours.

That’s why I recorded this video presenting you guys how the laptops performing in the normal office workflow but without the high end Nvidia graphics being utilized.

It is annoying me how many people have little observational ability here in the comments section. Just turn off all programs using your dedicated gpu, once the dgpu is not being used then it will turn off, that is how NVIDIA Optimus works.... You can also switch the preferred gpu from the nvidia control panel for your program so that it wont use the dgpu at all.

How did you stop the gpu from being utilised? I have the same laptop and i am getting about 1hr of battery in normal usage.

i have the acer nitro 5 2021, i use all the power saver settings and i even turn on battery saver mode. Plus, i even disable my dedicated graphics and only used integrated, and still i only have less than 2 hours how the heck you got 4 hours+ SOT dude
