I have nitro 5 i5 12500h, 16gb, rtx3050, 512gb SSDm.2 for ~900$ :) And its stunning good for the price despite all objectiv lacks. I'm using the laptop for design and medium performing games. Both design and power enough to me, I can tell nothing rude about assembly and quality of notebook materials - all looks pretty solid.

Bro the 90 degree limit is in literally every single laptop ever made if it doesn’t then the laptops gonna die

I bought this. It's good. Battery is bad. But for gaming the power draw for gaming is too much for the battery. Just keep it plugged in

I like the fact that "everything is wrong with this laptop" but in the end was like "it is a decent laptop" haha

I just got a Nitro 5 AN515-58-79A5 at Micro Center for $1, 100 when originally $1, 800. Specs i7 12th Gen 12700H; RTX 3070; 32GB DDR4-3200 RAM; 1TB Solid State Drive with 1080p 165Hz screen. I think I got myself a steal for the price! Every video shows the 144Hz display but no one ever talks about the 165Hz display model. The screen quality on it is great only have it on 40% brightness and that is with my window open with sun coming in. I mainly game on it but I also do a little video editing and have no complaints at all.

I got this recently and it has great performance. The screen does wobble a bit but so does the 2021 model, so I've heard it's normal. I would recommend it for $7-800 and use a cooling pad if you plan to game heavily.

I bought a brand new Nitro 5 i9 3060 and I have a very weird clicking noise sometimes. Cant figure out where its coming from. Happens during gameplay and I hear it because I don’t have my volume up loud. Just happens here and their. I’ve googled it but came across nothing. The lap top is 2 weeks old from brand new

I was going to like this video but I find it utter irritating the person who made this seemed to have forgotten that this laptop is made for us/we whatever floats your boat that don't have the money to enjoy that premium feel gaming laptop you seem to forget that what we are coming from Is already trash compared to this and just the inclusion of a mix switch makes this 10× better wobbling in my eyes that thing is perfectly stable use my potato for a day and you'd literally go out of the tech field battery? My laptop hasn't had a functioning battery for over 3 years and I've been using it without complaints hell I'd take a battery that doesn't die in 4 hrs of use if I have to CPU optimization for longevity? Yeah I'm really happy about it like when next would I be able to change my laptop after getting this I'm literally still in the process of saving just to get this. And colours? Compared to anything I've had that laptop is like a 4k display to me. Lastly charging brick/adaptor size 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 you think budget gamers would care about such little price to pay when we can join the gaming community and play AAA titles that felt like a dream moments ago yeah I don't think so I'm a gamer only in names and all I've been able to do is watch all the games I'd love to play on YouTube and now I'd finally get the chance to play them and I'd be worried about charger size and screen wobbling? When I found out games that my laptop could actually run I'd literally have to pirate them and risk corrupting my entire system without a care in the world just so I could play a game and then you go mentioning things I won't even notice while I'm finally able to enjoy decent games and not have to play at 360p resolution on lowest graphics with all the settings turned to lowest. Bruh you're talking to the wrong audience

Anyone who knows the actual tech, not just the spec sheet can solve these problems on their own.

its better than my msi g66 that max thermals like crazy and sound like a jet engine with a 99 WA battery that last only 5 hrs with tweks .I have a nirto5 that 5 years old that works great and love the soft sound of the nitro fans and just picked up a nirto5 on a killer deal last month with i5 11th gen and 3050 16gb ram 144 hrz that's has great cooling like the old nitro .. Acer make some killer lap for the price and its easy to up grade the ram and hard drives . but I would take a bigger battery over a 2.5 hd space as the thing has 2 m.2 spots already

Just got the Nitro 5 with the 12 core Intel i5. I went Intel because the Intel had better power management than the AMD (and correct me if I'm wrong but Intel performs better with thermals as well). The CPU is compatible with DDR5 but does DDR5 RAM SODIMMs use the same slots as DDR4 SODIMMs? (Thought I heard the presenter mentioned that the slots support DDR5). Based on reviews, I hear the screen brightness is decent even though it's not topnotch (around 287 to 300 nits). I think it's the best out there for the price but then again, there is the Asus Zephyrus G16 on sale with higher resolution and a brighter and bigger display, but that's about.

bruh. 90°+ are not reasonable temperatures. Keeping it below there is a selling point, not an issue with the product. If that's not good enough then get a desktop with the same money or spend more money on better laptop gpu.

I’d honestly just suggest building a PC if u really want to game at peak performance. I’m planning on using this as a streaming laptop and for the price at $750 after taxes on black Friday I think it’s more than enough for what streaming plus a little more
