Awesome technique! As a learning novice, I would love to know why you're adding flux only to the rod... Is that for the video purpose so we can see the puddle? Or adding it to the rod only would also give a strong durable weld?

Need some harness support on my aluminum valve cover. This video comes in handy with zoomed-in view showing the technique. Would be better with some tips about preparation work (but people with experience have known the procedures anyway)

Do you still sell the torch and accessories? Seems your website has been blocked. Note that by applying flux on the base metal and preheating it, the oxide layer will be reduced and the melted rod will flow better. At the beginning, the oxide layer is not melted and the melted rod BLOBS on the base metal
