STOP Posting YouTube Shorts From Your Phone (DO THIS INSTEAD)

This video explains why you should NOT be uploading YouTube shorts from your phone if you want to maximize the views you get on YouTube and the subscribers you gain every time you post.

I go straight to YouTube studio app on my phone and edit the videos tags and description etc from there.

Make sure to add tags. It will definitely boost the views. Add tags in the description as well. Use tags that are searched the most.

I record and upload all my videos off my phone. And I’ve forget at times to do it and I definitely see the difference. But, doing it on a phone isn’t bad you just need to remember to add the important things

Unless I am missing something, you can't build a short using trending audio from desktop, so a great way to combat this is to upload from your phone (especially if you want to use trending music), then schedule it for a future date. Then before you want it to go live, go to it on your computer to optimize the description, tags, etc and post it right then, or keep it scheduled for when you want it to go up. Best of both worlds!
