then the sum of roots: α+β=− b/a

and product of the roots: 𝛼*𝛽=𝑐/𝑎

I believe it's not fair to hide from people formulas and statements. What you have just shown is not a trick at all. It's Viete's formula for the sum of resolutions of qadratic equation. That's the reason why people consider maths very difficult to learn-they where shown maths as an unlimited pack of tricks to learn. The truth is defferent. You can discover or be shown the statements or formulas. The one you've presented here can be easily revealed when you try to add two real solutions of qadratic equation. The sqaure root of delta reduces to null and what is left is negative of the coeficient of x in the counter and the coeficient of x sqaure in the denominator. You can easily proove it. Similar formula can be introduced for the product of two real solutions. It's not a trick. It's Viete's idea😁
