So I figured 10% of 700 which is 70, I than doubled that number to give me 20% of 700 which is 140, I than figured 1% of 700 which is 7. I than multiplied 7 by 9 which gave me 9% which is 63. Finally I added 20%:140 to 9%:63
140+63= 203
29% of 700 =203

I do appreciate seeing you work the problem with less steps by simply figuring the % by rounding to the nearest 10 which of course makes it easier to come to a newer and than simply subtracting the difference.
