The hole spacing on the beams is 8mm,

the republic fighter tank has an illegal building technique for the side cannons which make them in turn sag. it's really pityful that they couldn't think of a proper way to attach the cannons without them sagging af

lego has used the last one in sets before (a ninjago set i built a while back, based on skybound) had a minifigure built similarly to that, there just wasnt a head
