Putting a tile in a clip isnt illegal- as long as the clip is one of the newer molds. Also tiles between studs is fine, since tiles are slightly thinner than plates. Round studs between studs is also fine, because it doesnt stress the bricks.

That's literally what anti studs are mad for – to fit between four studs.
No matter if the anti studs are on the bottom of larger bricks/plates or 1x1 round bricks/plates.

I use the center stud in the 2x2 for Minecraft Crops

Lego used to use thos techniques because back then, they didn't make the parts and didn't knew it would break their bricks, so once the bricks did brake by using a technique, they would make it illegal, learn from your mistakes guys
