Hello! My name is Milly & welcome to Joy with Plants! I follow a High Carb - Low Fat, No oil Plant Based diet. That’s a mouthful haha

I have been WFPB for over 9 months now and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made for my health and my life. I love this way of eating & I want to share how you can love it too. It has restored joy in my life as I had struggled with food for many years. For the first time in my life food is not something I am enslaved to but a blessing to be enjoyed.

Excuse the low quality as this is my first attempt at this whole YouTube thing. I look forward to making more grocery haul videos, share some tips and tricks to making this lifestyle simpler and sustainable along with bringing you into my life as I live my best Plant Based life!

It's probably because I am on a weight loss journey 🤷🏽‍♀️ anyways I've seen a lot of huals but I must say this is one of the most colorfully and vibrant ones I've seen. Makes me wanna do better. Omg yes!!! Limes are the best! In a Cuban family, I always grew up eating limes. Didn't even buy a lemon until I was married, lol, my mom would never buy them. Now living in Japan, I miss them so much! They're super expensive here. I refuse to pay $3.50/ea for something I'm used to getting for $0.10/ea! I think I've bought one limes in 4 years here :(. Fantastic haul! I use the same sugar for baking and find that I can use less in recipes because it is sweeter than white sugar. I would love to see some of your soup recipes. Are you on Instagram?

Honey is not a whole food plant base because it come from a animal not from a plant ☺️
