Ingredients:
3 sweet potatoes
3 sticks unsalted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons orange juice( zest can be added as well)
1/4 teaspoon salt

I make the yams for my family. I actually use the same ingredients but I add Grand Marnier as well. My favorite sides are potato salad and macaroni & cheese with gravy over both.
