THANK YOU. This was driving me mad. I thought that by now, no more of these were floating around with the old bootloader on them, but this fixed my problem. Whew.

Really wish I'd found this before trying several other laborious solutions (e.g. burning the bootloader), that didn't work! Many thanks for sharing this top tip, that worked!

The processor section of Arduino IDE doesn't exist anymore, or at least I can't find it, now how do I fix it?

I can see my port but whenever i try to upload my code, this shows up:

While using arduino uno, no such option appears. This option shows up only for arduino nano. How to solve this issue for arduino uno?
