My mom didn't want me to shine. She doesn't like when the attention isn't on her. If she did say anything nice about me, it was in expectation that the other person would say, "wow you are such a great mother to have such a good kid." I was a bit of a loner and an introvert and I became really shy to avoid criticism. If she can't see me, then she can't criticize me. I guess I have a lot of work to do.

This is lovely, I do not like the videos telling Leo rising to control their ego, I agree that Leo's can be self inflated and find it hard to listen sometimes, however that's when you know that you're at your best and strongest sometimes, keep loving yourself and recharging your energy and walk with confidence xx

My current best friens is a theater actress, she has a Leo rising a Leo sun and a Sagittarius moon. She is always ready to take the spot light and graciously accept any applause. She goes thru life with the attitude of "fake it till you make it"

I found my identity and sense of self was really highlighted in my work. Self esteem and fulfillment was magnified by my dedication and reliability at work (I cared for cattle at a small farm lmao). Being a good employee was so important to me, and it manifested sometimes in negative ways (putting my job first above all else).

Then COVID happened and now I'm putting my all into entrepreneurship... Primarily artistic pursuits!

They always say Leo Risings are awesome people with regal bearing who can command people's respect and admiration.. I am a Leo rising, but why do I always feel the other way around? Why do I always get picked on by people (i was bullied back in high school and now people in my work place are doing their best to get rid of me)? Why do my parents tell me I am not good enough? Sucks, it's prolly because of the other factors in my chart.
