I love my C2, but I bought a 65inch Q7 recently for my living room and the deep blacks surprised me and its definitely not too far off from oled level contrast. For $700 you cant go wrong with the price to performance you get with the Q7

Talk about value - I got my 65” Q7 at Best Buy for $514 (open box, got it even before it was set up as a demo so basically new) before there were any reviews available. Was a little hesitant about not even being able to see a demo before buying but no regrets now 😀. Although I can appreciate the vibrancy of high-end TV’s, the Q7 is huge value for the money.

Its crazy that the TCL in the life movie scenes looks better, more reallife like to the eye. Almost if you are there what would a person truly look like. I think the TCL is better although most wont admit in. The ultra realistic.

TCL Q7 is a weirdo TV... Crazy good contrast but in some ways even behind old 5 series ( had better color gamut, processing ) ... When I went to see it at BB lest week... I only saw demo but in summery I'd say.
Great contrast up there with flag ship LCD TV that cost x2 the price but just weak HDR punch... and it's not all the weak color gamut either... The TCL 6 series had same meh color gamut but it had that HDR punch...
That's because it had mini-led so could go brighter... Which in turn raised it's color volume....
While this Q7 has around the same color volume as an old 5 series even though it's brighter...
Such a weirdo TV....
