So glad I watched this video, I didn’t know what the small black piece was used for. So it’s only used until after you’ve finished using the filtering process.
Haha I was way off.

I have a moka pot, a French press and this one. I think the pour over is my favorite method of extraction. 🙂

Got one of these recently and I love it. It was cheap too at $15.

Just bought one from Walmart. Cost me $39.97 for the Bodum Kettle and $22.44 for the Bodum Pour over (8 Cup). But it's so worth it.

It took some doing, but I found one in a big box (and a gooseneck kettle). Great for field use.

Love this, but any suggestions for keeping the coffee hot? Mug warmer?

I poured water into the coffee grounds and it ran straight through as if there was nothing there. It was not what I expected.

I ordered by Bodum 1/1/21-double wall, have bought coffee beans and awaiting my gooseneck kettle and Bodum. Just trying to figure out what my water to coffee ratio will be--just for a couple of cups

Hi Bodum! I was wondering if it is safe to make iced pour over in this brewer carafe? Is there a possibility of the glass shattering, or would the coffee grounds dissipate enough heat before reaching any ice at the bottom? I've tried brewing so a few times without any issues, but is it recommended?
