I love my Bodum French press - I never knew coffee could taste so good w/out cream and sugar and not cause searing heartburn.

I've been making my coffee cowboy style for many many years. I also own this bodum and here's how I believe it should be done... simplified. I like my coffee black and strong... add 30g fresh ground or 5 heaping tbsp commercial ground and dump all the water in, stir for ~15 seconds cover with tea plate and let sit for a bit, stir for ~5 seconds cover and let sit for a bit, stir for ~5 seconds and either plunge if you're in a hurry or let sit another moment to let the grounds settle on the bottom. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes and utilizes all the coffee goodness, no wasted crust on the top.

He put 120ml of water in for two scoops of coffee(which would be for two cups) so the coffee cups he's using are 1/4 of a cup because isn't 120ml of water 1/2 cup?

1:20 92-96 degree water? I think that's a typo.

These instructions, predicated on the idea that a cup of coffee is 120ml, resulted in less than a full cup of lukewarm coffee. In truth a cup of coffee is closer to 250ml, and obviously you can’t let the boiled water sit out for four minutes and cool off while the grounds “settle” or whatever — all of which I had to learn the hard way. This should be taken down
