Black Myth: Wukong | Hidden First Encounter with Horse Guai (NPC) - Bamboo Grove, Back Hills

Found just after the fight against the wolf demon, Lingxuzi (Guanyin Temple) in a small shrine is Horse Guai - a friendly face whom hates Black Wind.

Seems to be another Blaidd like NPC (Elden Ring), who we will meet further along the journey. Next encounter, Sandgate Village, tied to a pole... the story with him picks up from here.

Within this cave is also a neat'o Meditation spot.
Possible to miss this deviation, with our new friend. 🐴
