A request: Could you please do a DIY pedicure video? It would also be helpful for knowing what to ask for in salons that only offer wet pedicures. Thank you.

Such beautiful healthy nails! Fantastic demo, thank you! I cringe whenever I sit at the nail salon and I let them literally butcher my nails, even though I tell them every time to be as gentle as possible. And when I see girls next to me having all these pointy gels, acrylic extensions..omg, I can't believe they are falling for this trend, given how much their nails and cuticles suffer. Their nails are absolutely wrecked...dry, peeling, cuticles raw and inflamed..what is wrong with this world that finds this (fakery) to be a beauty trend..

THIS is my absolute favorite manicure look of all. Clean, simple, elegant.

10 years ago I bought Blue Cross because everybody was raving about this product. When I first applied it, I realized stg was wrong when my nails started peeling (like tiny strings but still...) and now thanks to you, a freaking decade later, I'm learning that it's not supposed to stay on the nail for more than 2 min 😱 The internet was wild back then. I never used it again, I thought it was just too strong for my (already extremely hard) nails. Your channel has officially become my new Bible ❤

I want to apply your philosophies on nail care to my whole life. Nice routines, take it slow and nurture. You are so wise. Much love 💗

I discovered your channel about 9 months ago, and I'm really happy I did. I lean more toward natural nail look, and don't like to fuss to much over my nails ( love the look that you did in this video, that's my favourite fingernail look as well). Initially I watched your videos to see how different 'natural' Essie nail polishes looked, but then I started watching your other videos as well, and I've learned so much. My nails never looked bad, but since I've been following your advice they look even better, almost perfect. I never felt comfortable cutting the keratinized skin of the pnf ( pain, redness, slight inflammation), and when I learned from you why that is not a good idea anyway, it all made sense to me. I started using nail oils, and moisturizing the skin more often and my pnf looks great ( and it seems to me that it got even less visible), I don't get hang nails or small skin tears like I used to. Your nail care routine is simple, easy, manageable ( even for someone who has never been to a nail salon), doesn't require a lot of time, and when you do it on a regular basis it gives amazing results. In short, thank you so much for all your advice, videos, and hard work. I hope your channel and viewership keeps growing. You deserve it!!
Love and thanks to you and Mr. SL from TO Canada

It makes me feel so relieved to hear you say you still mess up and pick sometimes. I have to remember that even if you make a mistake you just need to stop and moisturize and move on.

I just wanted to say thank you. I found you yesterday on YouTube and immediately became a fan. Promise not a stalker but was wrapped up in your videos to learn how to take care of my nails. I’ve blamed technique or quality of products for decades. I’d get beautiful manicures and pedicures only to have my nails fall apart and then start the cycle of trying to repair. I honestly never ever apply any moisturizer or hydration to my hands and use alcohol based cleanser multiple times a day due to my job. I watched your videos and life changing!! I did a warm oil soak yesterday and my nails look better already. Thank you so much!!

I have that same bump on my middle finger from holding a pen/pencil! So happy I came upon your channel. I've learned more from you that any others.

Wow, I have had the exact same bump on my right middle finger ever since grade school, also from so much writing! It has even distorted the nail a little bit. I’ve never seen or heard anyone else mention it. Great video, thank you!

I appreciate all the terrific tips and techniques you share in each video and I especially like seeing you work on yourself in this one. I often find it hard to find the right position or get good control when trying to do my own manis and this was very helpful. Thank you!

Your demo is great for DIY; really clear instructions and camera angles. You narration stood out against the soft background music. Thanks for clarifying your pattern recommendations for Erica’s Diamond Hand Files. Using a urea based cream & applying oils to my nails has really helped. I used to get a lot of hangnails and my nails used to peel a lot. Following your techniques has improved the way I file my nails.

*THANK-YOU ANNA* I've got a weird tiny streak in my thumbnail and to know it's probably a splinter haemorrhage is such a relief. I'll keep an eye on it but I'm now not so worried. I've learned so much from you, my nails have never looked better and I've now got a vial of oil next to my keyboard and apply it frequently. Such a simple thing but such huge improvement! Cheers from Oz and THANK-YOU AGAIN!!

Perfect! Ever since I found you, this is the only way I've been doing manicures. Gel polish rarely. I also soak my nails in oil. I made many mistakes: cutting the skin, applying strong pressure to the cuticle, excessively polishing the nails. Was a mistake. But you taught me to do good. Thank you, my nails are great!!!

You are doing nail care and even your videos about it EXACTLY the way I would. Very informative, packed with great info, no "water." Glad I stumbled upon your channel
