I made TONS of these in middle school. Early 00s. Good times! I was an expert at starting them, if I do say so myself 😆😆 and my friends would come to me with the colors they wanted and ask me to start for them ☺️⭐️ To do a cascading/staircase-looking design, just do this box tutorial but start your strings off at an angle instead. 💜

thanks for this tutorial. I was able to finally get it right. For those in the comments having trouble reduce playback speed to .5 and just focus on what the hands are doing. The camera is angled perfectly so you should be able to follow along from sight alone.
